I HAVE WORN MANY HELMETS OVER THE YEARS AS MANY HAVE,BUT, RECENTLY READ A ARTICLE ABOUT CRASH RATING THROUGH DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION---IT SEEMS THAT ALLMUST MEET THE SAME CRASH PROTECTION RATING, OR AT LEAST THE MINIMAL RATING. THIS GIVES RISE TO THE FACT THAT A 350$ HELMET HAS THE SAME PROTECTION AS A 100$ HELMET, I THINK IT COMES DOWN TO COMFORT AND RIDER PREFERANCE.NO MATTER WHAT YOU WEAR, PLEASE WEAR IT. AS AN EMERGENCY ROOM NURSE, HAVE SEEN MANY IN DIRE SRAIGHTS BECAUSE OF NOT WEARING THEM. BE SAFE.

I've never bought an expensive helmet.
And I've come off on road and on dirt and they have obviously done the job and saved my head and face.

I am currently wearing the full face MDS Edge in matt black.
MDS is an Arai company, the difference is the MDS models are made at the Arai factory in Indonesia.

Nice fit, was a bit tight on forehead and cheeks when I first got it but after a dozen or so times wearing it to work and one 1500 kilometer trip it's settled in nicely. I do have to shove a finger up the inside of the helmet and poke me ears back up straight, but I do that with most of me helmets.

In Oz dollars it cost me $110 bucks. That's about 42 Pounds I reckon.

The only time I have crashed big time at Cadwell Park I was wearing a cheap polycarb lid (FM I think).
It did the job leaving me with two black eyes and a bruised face but alive and able to 'fight another day'

I wear a SHOEI RaidII now, had an Arai once and was a good lid, just find SHOEIs more comfy, I guess my head is shaped that way.
I am interested in one of these Nolan BlueTooth helmets, anybody have any experience of them?
