yet to take the little beasty on to sand yet!!!! but im sure i shall come across some soon enough and no doubt the temptation to ride through it will be too much.
as for the wheels, i have tourances on the wheels at the moment, which are fine for the road running, but they do struggle in the mud. Hence the couple of times it has ended up on its side. They just clog with mud and become slicks. Not a huge problem but just makes for hard work.
I am keeping my eyes out for a second set of wheels with the idea to fit a set of knobblies to the wheels and then just fit the appropriate wheel/tyre combination for the riding I shall be doing that time.
