Ian Kerr is a Freelance motorcycle consultant, journalist and photographer as well as the author, co-author of several motorcycle books. He has ridden bikes for over 30 years in 25 countries of the world and has also competed in various types of motorcycle sport in the UK, Europe and the USA.

He also spent nearly twenty years as a police motorcycle patrol rider in London. As part of this he was involved in accident investigation and was responsible for setting up a major rider training programme for the public.
