 | Ian Mutch it is fair to say has been around along time and been to many countries in his life thanks to his time at sea, as well as being life long motorcyclist. As a result he has some quite interesting views on life, people, the universe etc.
This latest self-published book is the story of a journey he made from his home in the UK all the way to the Dead Sea in Israel on a motorbike. Nothing unusual in that you might think, trips like this happen all the time nowadays.
However, in his own inimitable style he did it some years ago on a low-rider Triumph that one might politely say was not in the best of health. Throughout the journey he ends up with some colourful travelling companions, faces adversity, hardship and as ever does it all his own way, which you may or may not agree with. |
The result is a story that is entertaining and a rattling (sic) good read throughout the 106 pages, littered with some amusing illustrations. As ever, Mutch writes in a style that puts you on his shoulder and makes you feel part of the adventure and as a result even the non-motorcyclist will enjoy reading this compact soft-back.
It is an adventure that would have done well gracing the pages of any Boys Own Annual and as a result deserves a place on your bookshelves either under Adventure or Motorcycling, the choice is yours for a modest £5.99 (+£1 p&p) from PO Box 18519 London E11 4HF.
